Fanart/Collaboration by Tara and Me (she drew one herself and I colored her's) to celebrate Jamiew Hewlett's 40th birthday! Basically the first collab I've done in photoshop and it was alot of fun! It was a bit strange coloring Tara's but it was exciting ^^

This is of "Get The Freebies" a comic created by him for Face Magazine in the 90's and has recently been adapted into a TV show renamed "Phoo Action" that's comin to BBC3 in 2009. The Pilot was already made and it lovely XD

The Asian guy is Terry Phoo, kung fu police officer.
The red headed girl is Whitey Action, a rebelious teen who has magic utility shorts.
And The FREEBIES
Jimmy the basketball headed leader
Marlon the effeminate midget with the striped suit
and Burk the big dumb purple ape.

The whole concept is basically Whitey and Terry trying to catch the Freebies who fuck shit up.

Tara and me love Jamie Hewlett's art and we just couldn't resist some fanart. This was alot of fun and Tara's colors are amazing. I had no idea what to expect from her but she has astounded me once again and I'm very happy to have my lineart be sexed up by her colors. Just look at it. Its amazing. Your colors are just as sexy. And ya know what? This concept is perfect. Mine is like the intro where they break outta jail and yours is the conclusion were they get them Freebies. =D We should post these on their space XD be like WHOO! Check it!
