I like 'em all too. My favourite was Hotel Transylvania; the story was weak but I love to see that kind of broad cartoon slapstick given feature film budgets, especially when the visual gags are that dang good.
I thought Paranorman was great and had the most emotional impact but I felt it had pacing issues, it had great ideas but it took too long to bring them out. i think maybe the film could've flowed better without the John Goodman character.
Typically of modern Tim Burton films Frankenstein had a lot of themes that felt arbitrary and never really hit home BUT unlike a typical Tim Burton it was huge amounts of fun. I really enjoyed myself and it felt like Burton did too.
And this drawing is lovely. Bears repeating.
