Universal Double Bill by SeizureDemon Universal Double Bill by SeizureDemon
The two that started it all! My favorite pseudo-duo Lugosi and Karloff.

This was for the titmouse blogs weekly theme, which was movie monsters and OF COURSE...I had to join in. They were both sketched in Flash and not meant to be anything cool but turned into matching images.

Enjoy.

Looks like Drac is about to send the Monster out after Costello's brain. This is a great tribute to two of the best horror film actors and monsters of all time.

I frikkin' love Frankenstein. Karloff was the best, but for a good laugh, the Glenn Strange version is enjoyable too.

Plus Lugosi is the best Dracula down pat. The only person who even remotely esges close in my book is Richard Roxburgh in Van Helsing.

Ha, you think Glenn Strange is a laugh?! Check out Ghost of Frankenstein with Lon Chaney Jr. as the monster or Frankenstein Meets the Wolfman with LUGOSI as the monster. Hilarity ensues.

I should! The most I ever saw of those films where James Rofle's reviews on them for Monster Madness.

I just hope they have 'em on Youtube; it's impossible to find the films on TV, DVD or even VHS anymore. :C

I'll take a look see. Heavens knows old classics (no matter how offbeat) are better than the regulars AMC promotes outside of The Walking Dead.
